Our restaurant and bar offers home cooked food and a wide range of local ales to be enjoyed around a roaring fire, or in the warmer months, enjoying the breathtaking view of Muncaster Fell from our beautiful garden.

We are proud to source ingredients from our many outstanding local suppliers.

Our breakfasts are well known for being hearty and just what is required before a day on the fells or cycling the next stage.

Lunches are served during the day. In the evening our dinner menu can be enjoyed either in our restaurant, bar or garden room and our Sunday roasts (served every Sunday) are renowned in the area with both visitors, guests and locals alike.

The Bower House vegetarian options are famous within the area.
