Leave the M6 at Junction 36 onto the A591 & follow the signs for Windermere/The Lakes
Take exit onto A590 & follow signs for Barrow in Furness.
At Greenodd turn right at the roundabout onto the A5092.
At Grizebeck turn right onto the A595 & follow past Broughton in Furness, following signs towards Seascale / Whitehaven / Workington
When you reach Holmrook, there is a right hand turning just before the petrol station on your left & follow signs to Eskdale / Eskdale Green.
Keep following the road towards Eskdale & we will be on your right hand side before you reach Eskdale Green.
This route is recommended as the easiest to drive!

Leave the M6 at Carlisle & follow signs for Cockermouth on the A595.
Follow the A595 south past Workington & Whitehaven, until you reach Holmerook.
After the petrol station on your right hand side, take the left hand turning towards Eskdale / Eskdale Green.
Keep following the road towards Eskdale & just before you reach Eskdale Green we will be on your left hand side.

From M6 at J36 follow signs for Ambleside.
At Ambleside turn left for Skelwith Bridge.
About a mile down the road turn right down a small road, following signs for Little Langdale.
Take a left hand turn & follow road towards Wrynose & Hardknott Passes.
After the decline from Hardknott, follow the road through Boot & towards Eskdale Green.
Just after the village on Eskdale Green, we will be on your right hand side.
The passes are some of the steepest in England & while it is a beautiful drive, with stunning views, we would only recommend it to the more confident drivers & we would not recommend it at all during bad weather conditions.

At the traffic lights just before the River Duddon take the right hand turning through Ulpha & Birker Fell.
Follow signs for Eskdale / Eskdale Green.
Passing the King George Pub on your left & into Eskdale Green.
We will be on your left hand side just as you leave the village.
This is another beautiful scenic drive, though not as steep as the passes we would still only recommend this route to the more confident drivers & would not recommend it during bad weather conditions.

You can reach us via train, by using the mainline trains to Ravenglass.
At Ravenglass you can then use the famous Laal Ratty miniature steam train up the Eskdale Valley to Irton Road train station.
We are then just a short walk through Eskdale Green & will be situated just outside the village on your left hand side.
